What is the Female Delusion Calculator?
A statistical tool that estimates how rare a set of partner criteria is in a selected population using official microdata.
Where does the data come from?
Primarily the U.S. Census Bureau ACS 5-Year PUMS. The API downloads and processes microdata locally.
How accurate are the results?
They are design-weighted population estimates with sampling uncertainty. Accuracy depends on sample size, geography, and criteria rarity. Results include data-quality ratings when available.
What does “1 in X” mean?
If percentage p of the target population matches, one-in-X is approximately 1 / (p/100), rounded. It is an estimate, not a guarantee about any individual.
What does Census PWGTP mean?
PWGTP is the person weight. Each sample person represents roughly PWGTP people in the population. We sum weights to estimate totals.
Does this measure actual dating availability?
No. Census data do not identify who is actively dating, interested, or reachable.
Why can't you calculate height yet?
ACS PUMS does not include measured height. Height requires a source like NHANES, which is not yet integrated.
How is income handled?
Income filters use PINCP adjusted by ADJINC. The API documents the exact formula and dollar-year limitations.
Can I change my location?
Yes — select any U.S. state in the calculator. City/radius exactness is not claimed in the MVP.
Does this work outside the United States?
Not yet. International providers are planned; the MVP is U.S. ACS PUMS only.
